Overseas Co-Creation Ecosystems
About Our Overseas Co-Creation Ecosystems
Formation of Overseas Co-Creation Ecosystems

<What is an overseas co-creation ecosystem?> Our overseas co-creation ecosystems are hubs which serve as the core facilities for expanding our network with overseas universities and regions. They also oversee our education and research bases in the countries in which the ecosystems are located.
During the Fourth Mid-Term Objectives Period, Hiroshima University selected regions and countries of high priority in order to expand and strengthen its partnerships and networks with universities abroad. As part of this initiative, Hiroshima University is working to establish overseas co-creation ecosystems, with two such ecosystems already in place and a plan underway to establish a third.
The overseas co-creation ecosystems are a framework which supports diverse international activities through establishing satellite campuses, collaborating with regional alumni associations, and setting up overseas education and research bases and representative offices in the corresponding countries.
